NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: Electronic Payment Options Now Available

We are pleased to announce electronic payment options available in partnership with Bank of America

  • Virtual Payables (now available): This payment method works much like accepting a credit card. A unique 16-digit credit card number will be issued to your organization. This unique credit card number may be kept on file, or you may choose to have a single use virtual card number provided through a secure site with each payment issued. As an added benefit, vendors who sign up for the Virtual Payables option will have their invoices paid immediately upon approval. For more information or to enroll:

  • Paymode- X ACH Options
    • Premium ACH: With this option, remittance advice will be sent electronically, in a format that allows payments to automatically post to your system. Please note that 1.5% Network fee applies to each premium ACH payment.
    • Basic ACH: With this option, vendors will receive an email when a payment is issued and will need to log into their Paymode account to retrieve the remittance advice. Manual posting of payment transactions will be required.

.                 For more information or to enroll, please reach out to Paymode enrollment team at:

Phone:  1-800-331-0974  Mon – Fri. 8-5 pm EST

Email: enrollment@paymode-x.com

For vendors who do not enroll in any of the Bank of America electronic payment methods, a check will be issued and mailed to the requested remittance address via the US Postal Service.

Please note that the electronic payment options are only currently available to companies and not individual/sole proprietors.  More to come at a later date.

The University of Connecticut standard payment terms are Net 45 days based on a fully approved invoice in accordance with the State of Connecticut.  In order to avoid a delay in payment we strongly suggest emailing your invoice to apinvoices@uconn.edu in lieu of mailing them to our office
